This blog will show you how to sew a contoured face mask.

 Why wear a mask?

Mask 1

(Pictured above). You may prefer this contoured mask to the more common flat pleated mask for two reasons:
  • the contoured mask will touch your face only around its edges (so it will be less sweaty to wear than a flat pleated mask, with no pressure on your nose and no fabric bunching into your mouth).
  • It has a slot for wire to make it snug around your nose (so no fogged up eye glasses)

Mask 2

A a more elegant version of a contoured mask is becoming more popular today, although it still covers a lot of your face.
